FOX MOUNTAIN INN PET POLICY

At Fox Mountain Inn, we understand that pets are part of the family, and we welcome them in our designated pet-friendly rooms. To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we ask pet owners to adhere to the following policies.

Pet Acceptance Agreement

1. Pet Types and Number:  

         We allow a maximum number of 2 pets per room, limited                                                                  to domesticated dogs, cats and caged birds. Weighing                                                                    no more than 50 pounds each.

    2. Vaccinations:                        

         All pets must be current on vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be requested               at  check-in.
    3.Health and Behavior:        

         Pets must be clean, fully house-trained, parasite free and                                                               disease free (i.e. ticks, fleas, Parvo, etc.)  and exhibit

          non- aggressive behavior.

    4. Pet Fees: 

          Pet Fee is included in the price of our PET FRIENDLY Rooms; Make                                           sure you have booked as such as rooms are limited and can't be                                                 changed upon arrival     . 

                 If you book a NON Pet room and upon arrival  you have a pet and IF we have a               room available you will be charged the $10.00 pet fee/night to change the reservation to the Pet Friendly Room.

     If all pet rooms are booked we are unable to accommodate you, it  is considered a cancelation and you will be charged for the night regardless. 

                There is also a $100.00 fee for each  undeclared/non-approved pet brought in.

 

     5. Damage Deposit: A refundable damage deposit of $150.00 may be required at                                                        check-in. (A valid CC must remain on file at the front desk) This                                                    deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of room                                                      at check out. Guest agrees and authorizes FMI to assess                                                                charges to card on file for any damages discovered prior to or                                                       after departure, including, but not limited to: Pet Odor and                                                             stains, repair or replacement of hotel property,                                                                                    excessive/exceptional cleaning or extermination charges, loss                                                     of revenue caused by pet including an ADA compliant service                                                      dog/miniture horse. (28 CFR 36.302 (c) (8).

 

      6. Pet Friendly Areas:  Pets are permitted only in designated pet rooms. 

Public areas: Pets must be on a controlled leash or in a carrier when not inside guest room or fenced dog run area. Pets are allowed only in designated areas such as Parking Lot, Pet Relief Area and Pet Friendly Guest Rooms. They may be in the grassy area in front of the Inn as long as you pick up after them and they are not disturbing other guests. They are not to be on the picnic tables. *Please use the designated pet relief area located in front of the Pet-Friendly rooms across the parking lot.

Pets are not allowed in the lobby, , gardens, play areas, sides or back of motel , or the adjacent restaurant grounds.

 

       7. In – Room Guidelines: Beds, linens, Blankets and Towels are not to be used for pets. (A black towel is provided in room for pet paws.) Pets are not to be bathed in shower/tub. Unattended Pets-Pets should not be left unattended in guest rooms. If it is unavoidable, pets must be secured in a crate or carrier. Noise-Owners must ensure that their pets do not disturb other guests. Excessive noise may result in additional charges or relocation.  (If 2 (two) complaints are received by management, alternative arrangements must be made for pet.)  Damage- Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Repair or replacement costs will be charged according.  Cleanliness- Owners must clean up after their pets both indoors and outdoor areas. Designated collection bin is attached to Pet area.  Cat litter boxes must be scooped daily (waste bags are located at Pet Area) and disposed of in the waste receptacle located there. Litter must also be bagged and put in the same trashcan prior to check out.

 

       8. Liability:  Pet must comply with local legislation and insurance liability requirements. Fox Mountain Inn assumes no responsibility for pets left unattended and is not liable for any injury or damage caused by pets or to pets and other guests or staff. Owners agree to indemnify FMI for any claims arising from their pets’ actions.
